Film Making
Kerry Kirkpatrick is a filmmaker, digital artist, and creative storyteller with a passion for bringing unusual ideas to life. Their work lives at the intersection of filmmaking, art, and emerging technology, where they combine traditional creative skills with innovative production techniques to tell stories that are visually compelling, emotionally engaging, and sometimes wonderfully absurd. I'm especially interested in the evolving relationship between traditional filmmaking and artificial intelligence. They explore how AI-assisted production, character development, 3D workflows, cinematography, and digital post-production can work together to expand what's possible for independent creators. For them, technology isn't a replacement for creativity; it's another tool for bringing ambitious ideas to the screen.
Scott Barrett is a creative director who works at the intersection of narrative, systems design, and real-time technology. He leads teams through concept development, prototyping, iteration, and polish—building experiences where story, gameplay, and visual tone support one another with clarity and emotional resonance. His background spans games, transmedia, and cinematic storytelling. He's led creative efforts that blend worldbuilding and character-driven narrative with modern pipelines in UE5. He enjoys bridging creative vision with practical execution, and thrives in environments where story, systems, and technology come together to create something genuinely memorable.
Unreal Engine
I'm working on a UE5 film and re-materialized the overhead garlands in images one and two (the whole object was one material so it was a matter of separating all the parts manually and reassigning different materials to them). I also customized the graphics for the phone booth in image 3 so that it would match the time period and the look for our film. The animals all look the same and are only there for temporary placement and we will be replacing them later on with their animated characters.
Metahumans & Topaz

Bacon and pancakes? What’s taking so long?
Cinemotion is a CG filmmaker group that I am a part of. We are working on a short film called Deadheaders using Metahumans and motion capture. Take a look at the side by side below to see the RAW Unreal Real-Time export next to the brand new Topaz “Astra” AI model [Creative Bold]. Click the image below to open the interactive comparison.
